SEN Teacher Long term contract ? Starting ASAP A specialist SEN school for the visually impaired is looking to appoint an experienced teacher who can commit until the end of the academic year. They are widely recognised for their work with blind children and are a highly regarded institution. This is a fixed term maternity contract until July 2010 but could be extended into the next academic year. You must demonstrate a friendly and outgoing personality and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. They are specifically looking for someone who loves a challenge and who would be enthusiastic in the role. A qualification in Braille would be advantageous but not essential as long as you have had experience in working with the visually impaired.
